Agency Search for New Media Partner
Alongside St. Thomas’ CMO, we provided consultation as the university searched for a new media agency.
St. Thomas was looking for a strategic partner with a consumer-first approach that understood the complexity of higher education lead generation and was able to serve the various schools needing support throughout the university.
Responsibilities
Facilitated search process, from discovery through selection
Provided input and feedback on the Request for Proposal (RFP)
Contributed to potential agency partner list and vetted agencies
Attended all agency presentations and working sessions
Offered objective perspective and reasoning on preferred agency
Outcomes
Discovery: casted a relatively wide net, capabilities presentations from 8 agencies
Point-of-view: narrowed list to 4 agencies, had them create a media strategy
Collaboration: media strategy presented to UST in workshop format
Evaluation: created documentation and facilitated feedback meetings
Scope: selected agency asked to provide detailed scope-of-work
Agency remains the media partner of St. Thomas today
